Study On Based On The Climate Characteristics Of The Design Of The City Square Of Xi’an

The square was known as the" city living room", is the important part of city space, for the people in the city an important communication and the sitting of the outer space environment. As the square itself characteristic, people in the outdoor plaza, are susceptible to the influence of climate factors, the square is very difficult to guarantee the comfort.This study from the climate’s point of view, analyzes the city micro climate environment on the Plaza comfort effect, and discusses such as solar radiation, air temperature, air humidity and wind environment of different climatic factors on the effect of city square. On this basis, combined with the Xi’an region of three different types of city square, climate adaptability test and field investigation, arrangement and analysis of related data.On the basis of the study above, this study proposed the Xi’an city square area of the climate adaptability design principles and methods, a detailed analysis of four climatic factors in two seasons on the city square different effects, and puts forward the solving strategies.Finally, based on the above study, taking Xi’an Metro City Plaza as example, a combination of climate factors and the surrounding environment, and from the city design of the principle, carries on the climate adaptability improvement experiment. In the town square of the transformation process, put forward "one axis two belts " of the overall design concept, the Metro Plaza building into the region of the city" Green Heart".Based on the study on the adaptability of climate factors, based on regional characteristics of square planning and environmental design is a more practical design method for Xi’an City, city square design offers reference for theoretical basis and the practical mode, but also for the Xi’an City in the process of facing the new city square design work new idea and reference.
