The city street is a very important part of city public space, and the development of society, city social needs, the needs of the individual are closely linked. The city streets of thermal environment quality is an important factor affecting the outdoor human comfort, building energy consumption. Short term environmental regions is difficult to improve, but the micro climate environment can be improved by reasonable landscape planning and architectural design. Therefore, in the streets of the city architecture and landscape planning and design, to create a comfortable micro climate good not only can make people get a good experience in the city street space, reflects the people-centered design principles, at the same time, reduce energy consumption, provide a natural, comfortable to use the city outdoor space feeling. So to improve the micro climate environment of city streets, in a natural way of cooling and humidification, reduce energy consumption for the good of the city street micro climate is a feasible method for sustainable development.The formation of urban street micro climate is the comprehensive effect of solar radiation, air temperature, air relative humidity and other climatic factors and architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture and human activities and other factors. Xi’an is a warm temperate semi humid continental monsoon climate, hot summer days, wide range, long duration, years, have obvious seasonal variation. High temperature in early April, late September, mainly concentrated in June, July and August; the annual high temperature days 23 days,severe high temperature mainly concentrated in June; high temperature lasting up to 17 days.According to the characteristics of Xi’an City summer climate, based on large amount of data on the city thermal environment, and in view of the micro climate adaptability design based on bio climatic design, from the basic "bio climate" relation, based on the investigation and analysis of different types of Xi’an city streets, to the wild goose Pagoda Road and Yan Nan An Road as an example, on the streets of the summer temperature and humidity and wind environment test and the observation of behavior research, analysis of Xi’an city streets summer microclimate environment, combined with the simulation software of Xi’an, summer street micro climate environment and the influence law of. Based on analyzing the present situation of the problem, put forward the corresponding summer street micro climate environment design principles and objectives, so as to put forward the corresponding strategy of climate adaptability design.
