The Design Strategies Research On Spatial Micro-Renovation Of Lingnan Old City District Based On Climate Response

With the area of construction approaching the "ceiling" and the constraints of economic and social costs in urban renewal,Chinese cities are gradually getting rid of the mode of scale expansion and "large-scale demolition and construction" and turning from the extensive development to the connotative development."micro-renewal" and "micro-renovation" have become the new topics of contemporary urban development.It is one of the valuable research directions of micro-renewal to consider "climate response" while improving the function and space of old city districts,to improve the environmental conditions of built space.A series of effective climate adaptability wisdom has been formed in the history of Lingnan old city districts;there are new functional requirements,new spatial scales and new technical conditions in the new age,which need to improve the theory and practice system of spatial micro-renovation based on "climate response",to promote the process of Lingnan old city districts micro-renovation scientifically.Based on the above background,this paper scientifically defines and classifies the old city districts in Lingnan through literature research and investigation,clarifies their characteristics and attributes;analyses the spatial status of different types of typical old city districts in Lingnan from the perspective of "climate response",and summarizes the problems that need to be solved urgently;draws lessons from the traditional climate adaptability principles and experiences in Lingnan,inheritance and innovation under the conditions of the new age,formulate the principle of micro-renovation baased on "climate response",aiming at spatial comfort and energy conservation;finally form the strategy system of micro-renovation of Lingnan old city blocks based on "climate response",which can provide reference for the micro-renovation of Lingnan old city districts.This paper is divided into four chapters: Chapter 1 is the theoretical research,mainly discussing the research background,objects,content,purpose and significance,and reviewing the research status of the urban micro-renewal,the climate adaptability of Lingnan architecture,the renovation and micro-renovation of Lingnan old city districts,providing a scientific basis for the topic selection;Chapter 2 firstly defines and classifies Lingnan old city districts scientifically,then investigates and analyses the status of typical cases of Lingnan old city districts in Guangzhou,Shenzhen and Eastern Guangdong from the perspective of "climate response",and puts forward the problems to be solved as the precondition for the micro-renovation strategies below.Chapter 3 firstly discusses the principle of "climate response" of Lingnan old city districts,learns from the traditional experience of climate adaptability,and elaborates the new functional requirements,spatial scales and technical conditions,then puts forward the principles of micro-renovation of Lingnan old city districts based on "climate response".Chapter 4,on the basis of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3,according to the design practices,case experiences and simulation experiments of Lingnan old city districts micro-renovation in Guangzhou,Shenzhen and Eastern Guangdong,puts forward 21 strategies for spatial micro-renovation of Lingnan old city districts based on "climate response" in 10 parts from the 3 levels of planning layout,building space and building interface,and reflects furtherly by proposing the relevant parameters and weight mechanism.Finally,the research results are summarized,the shortcomings and future prospects are put forward.
