With the development of transportation, bridge design theory and construction method ismature with each passing day. The application oflarge displacement expansion joints andrubber bearing prompted the prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge improving to themulti-span and long associated direction.As one of the most important part in the constructionof prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge, closure segment construction have asignificant iMPact on the main beam dead load internal forces when the bridge iscompleted.The design and selection of the closure scheme is the key to ensure that the stressand linear meet the design requirements when the construction is complete.This paper takes the Mian Bridge of Shi-gu Mountain continuous beam bridge as theengineering background, consults a large number of relevant information, summarizes thedevelopment status of closure technique of the prestressed concrete multi-span continuousbeam bridge at home and abroad.and describes the method of multi-span continuous beambridge closure systemly. Through the establishment of background bridge finite elementcomputation model, compare the deformation and stress of the main girder in differentconstruction stages, research the influence of the different closing order to the force anddeformation of multi-span continuous beam bridge.The research results has been applied in the Mian Bridge of Shi-gu Mountain continuousbeam bridge and the linear and the stress state have all reached the requirements of the design.
