With the fast development of the road business and the urbanization,road safety has become an important question which must be solved rightnow. Intersection, as a crucial component of road, is a place where streamof vehicle and people from each direction assemble to change their travellines, and also a place where lots of traffic accidents occurred. Trafficconflict can be easily observed, measured and recorded. And because ofits high reliability, rapid quantification and other advantages, traffic safetyevaluation base on traffic conflict technique as a microcosmic safetyevaluation is especially adapt to intersection, ramp and other roadfacilities etc which contain a mass of traffic interwovenness.This thesis discussed in detail the basic theory of traffic conflicttechnique that contains the mechanism of TTC’s generation, survey oftraffic data, method of TTC’s classification and divide of TTC’s serious.It introduced three assess methods of intersection based on TTC thatcontains math cluster model (gray cluster model and K means vaguecluster model), evaluation method of degree of traffic safety base on TTC, evaluation method of service level base on TTC. It also introduced therange of the application of the three methods. And it proved TTC’sfeasibility and availability and its wide prospect by application inexample of specific project.
