In the21stcentury, the problem of energy shortage and environment pollution isbecoming more and more serious. At the same time, the problem is starting to affect the lifeand production of human. Because of the great application quantities&high fuelconsumption and bad emistions, excavatr has been paid much attention in the field of energysaving and envinment protection in more and more countries. Hybrid technology is aneffective way in reducing energy consumption and emissions. But at present it still in theinitial stage. As the research object, the heavy of hybrid system excavator is7tons. This paperestablished the excavator models. At the same time, this paper researched the power systemusing control strategy under three working conditions of the excavator in simulation analysis.From comparison with the ordinary excavator, this paper showa that the hybrid system notonly save fuel consumption and the excavator improved emissions, but also steady runningsmoothly and improve the service life in the process of excavator working. The main contentsof this paper contain following parts:(1) This section mainly expounds the hybrid excavator’s studies purpose&significanceand current situation of study at both at home and abroad. And this section presented theexisting limitations of the study.(2) Three transmission scheme plan of hybrid technology are analyzed.(3) The parameters of excavator parallel hybrid system are matched, including engineparameters matching&motor parameter matching and battery parameters matching.(4) The parallel hybrid system of excavator was researched by using Matlab/Simulinkmodeling system. This paper discusses the working characteristics of parallel hybridexcavator, and using control strategy of working points researched the difference betweenparallel hybrid system excavator and ordinary excavator in parallel hybrid system excavatoreach working conditions.
