| With the development of the society, people put forward higher request tothe ship performance. During the past few years, there are a variety ofhigh-performance ships, each with its own pros and cons. Researchers aremaking continuous efforts to develop high-performance ships with betterperformance. Foreign countries have proposed many advanced ship forms.What can be seen from the new ships is that they all have finespeedability and seaworthiness. Development of foreign ships hasbrought challenges and opportunities to China. The surroundingsituation and internal demand in China has also proposed thedevelopment of new ships. Development of modern CAD and CFDtechnology provides powerful support for ship design and optimization.By drawing lessons from the foreign ships, taking fine speediness andseaworthiness as a starting point, and combined with some ideas of myown, this paper presents a new kind of ship, the shuttle vessel(hereinafterreferred to as the SV).The SV is a kind of mono-hull, drainage, wave-piercing and high-speedship. The SV is kind of ship which is designed for national defense andcivilian needs, aimed at getting fine speediness and seaworthiness, andable to adapt to the harsh environment of sailing. The work in this thesisnot only proposes an alternative design for the SV, gets the SV’shydrodynamic performance information, and lays the foundation for thelater model tests and actual ship test, but also makes technical reserve forfuture ship design through the R&D of the SV.The content of the issue includes the lines design of the SV, and performance characteristics in the corresponding design, based on CADand CFD. This issue also verifies the feasibility of application of sometechnologies in a high-speed vessel. These technologies includewave-piercing, mono-hull and intilted hull form, the anti-green-waterwedge, etc. Eventually, this paper provides reference designs and thecorresponding performance analysis.Firstly, this paper finishes the SV basic lines design and validation work.The SV basic lines design and validation work mainly studiescharacteristic of the intilted bow preliminarily, including its resistanceperformance in calm water and wave-making characteristic, and hassolved its practical problem in high speed mode.And then, the more specific work is made up by performance analysis ofthe VS under different hull details, providing selection proposal underdifferent factors, and proposing practical alternatives.This article builds a simple simulation tower tank by using some maturesoftware, in order to carry on CAD modeling and CFD simulation of theVS, which simulates the real tower tank experiments. Through actualusing, the simple simulation tower tank relatively has the advantage ofconvenience, speed and saving workload at primary ship form selectionwork, and is suitable to perplex hull design work. |
