With the development of road transportation industry in Jilin Province, theoriginal road transportation information management system cannot adapt to the needof industry development. It has become a top priority to re-design the roadtransportation information management system.Collaborative design mode has been proposed in the paper through the analysisof the characteristics of engineering design, the longitudinal and transversecooperative modes and the collaborative demand.By investigation the information management system of service object,management method, data acquisition and access methods, the overall frame of Jilinroad transport management system has been established based on computer supportedcooperative work system. The information management system can realize the user’scommunication function, information sharing and project management functions, andcan realize different user access to information database of the classification control.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the network and the businessapplications of road transportation information system in Jilin province, thecharacteristic of information has been summarized and the future developmentdirection of the information has been predicted. On this foundation, the paper putforward the requirements of the future of information management system in theintegrated data center construction, government office management informationplatform, and resource integration and security.On the basis of the demand analysis, the paper proposed the future of JilinProvince road transport management information system, including the systemstructure, data access ways and solutions to key problems. On this basis, theinformation management system for data center architecture, main machine systemdesign, system design, storage backup system has been designed. At the end of thethesis, to solve the variety of data format as well as the different needs of the differentusers for the data, the paper presents the main data center design and put forward thedetail solutions from the data management, exchange platform, extension methods,backup needs, security and other aspects.Researching on reconstruction of road transportation information managementsystem in Jilin province can provide the theory basis and the technical support and hasa profound and realistic significance.
