With the development of technology, the cycle of producing isshortened, cost of production competes deeply, any mistakeswhich lead to the waste of money and time do not allowed.Traditional manufacturing idea, therefore, is not adapt to today’sspeed of development. Nowadays using the networked, virtual andintelligent CIMS which is lead by digital technology becomes highlysignificant in mechanic producing. In this paper, we do some3Dsimulation research, based on digital technology, about processplanning of the new factory of Xuzhou heavy machinery Co., LTD.By using3D visualization real-time simulation, complete picture offuture new factory, layout of workmanship and facility in eachproduct unit and assembling process and material flow on mainproduction line can be showed with the virtual computer platform.We, then, optimize process planning due to problems found in thesimulation to avoid constructing twice effectively.By using static factory roaming simulation, overall view of futurenew factory, layout of workmanship and facility in each product unitand arrangement of debug factory can be displayed on VR platformin3D way and we can directly find out space interference problemswhich happen in the process planning. After that, we optimize thecorresponding2D layout to avoid waste and constructing twiceeffectively. Resources for production such as travelling crane andsemi-portal crane can be designed according to the scanning body,formed in assembling simulation, which can fast display the spacescanned by moving components in lifting process. The bestoperational action which meets demand of station can bediscovered through human engineering analysis focused on theassembling. In this paper, we present four different cases to solveaccumulation of turntables and extend arms and this accumulationoften appears in logistics simulation process of assembling of crane.The solution, to increase the number of travelling crane to6, couldobservably reduce the accumulation of turntables and extend armsand monthly production could sharply promote to440, raising42%by contrast with the case used now.
