Chinese automotive industry has developed very rapidly since the 21 century. It leads to the rapid development of the corresponding parts industry. Vehicle transmission production and manufacturing have many disadvantages such as backward production technology, production low efficiency, and poor quality, high consumption of energy per unit of product and so on, which are increasingly becoming the focus of the automotive industry. This study is based on the industrial engineering discipline system and multi-disciplinary knowledge. It provides a plan about the new science program of applicability of a digital high degree for transmission factory, which improves the quality and production efficiency, reduces production costs and energy consumption. This paper applies extension engineering and lean production theoretical system and computer-aided technology design platforms such as CAD, CAM and CAPP to create a digital closed-loop control analysis system of the production process of transmission factory, which simplify the production of process to optimize the production process. According to the actual situation of transmission factory, this paper analyzes and studies the logistics of the production process and the operating units in the relationship. It builds a system layout design (SLP), which achieves layout planning of science of the transmission factory and uses Flexsim simulation technology to verify the feasibility of design. The paper also builds a financial evaluation system, which can be analyzed by transmission factory in the design and planning problems to ultimately give a practical improvement program.
