Architectural Industry Heritage Re-use And Environmental Regeneration Of Hanyang Iron Factory

Nowadays, industrial heritages’conservation and re-use have become a hot topic concerned with the entire world. It aims to emphasize the contimuity of urban historical context, plays a new vitality in the re-construction of urban space and urban life, and has important implications for the future development of the industrial heritages and urban regeneration.The purpose of this paper is to take architectural industry heritage re-use and environmental regeneration of Hanyang iron factory as the main research object, through the on-the-spot investigation and applying relevant theory on urban planning, architecture design, environmental theoretical methods and eco-technology, studies and summarizes relevant protectional theory and practice at home and abroad, then makes science policy for Hanyang iron factory’s regeneration and finds the effective methods and ways of architectural industry heritage and environmental regeneration. By researching, the theory and practice of the industrial heritages’regeneration will be perfected. Ultimately, it can improve the value of urban land and achieve a goal on urban renaissance through adjusting the structure of urban functions.This paper is divided into six parts. In the first part, according to the topic to determine the background, purpose, meaning and content.The second part is accessing to information to study the successful experience of conservation and re-use of industrial heritage at home and abroad,then determine the science making-decision for industrial heritages’regeneration of Hanyang iron factory. The third part,through the on-the-spot investigation, analysis the problem which architectural industryl heritage and environmental regeneration of it is faced with.The fourth part is building evaluational system for industrial heritage of it,and utimately determining conservation and reuse level of the various types of heritage.The fifth part puts forward a concrete design strategy of its industrial buildings, structures heritage, and the way of rebuilding the factory environment,then try to activate the protenntial of old industrial areas to realize the regeneration of the old industrial areas.The sixth part is conclusion and outlook.
