Research On The Strategy Of Conservation And Utilization Of Industrial Heritage In Lanzhou Based On Regional Value

Taking the evolution of Lanzhou’s industrial pattern as the entry point,this paper takes the current situation of industrial heritage in Qilihe District of Lanzhou City as an example,analyzes the regional value of industrial heritage in Qilihe District,constructs an evaluation system for the value of industrial heritage,and explores the protection and utilization strategy of industrial heritage in Lanzhou.Firstly,the paper studies the evolution of Lanzhou industrial pattern in time dimension.The research can be divided into three periods: the modern period(westernization movement period,the Republic of China period);"First Five-Year Plan" period and "three-line construction" period;since the reform and opening up period.Through the analysis of the evolution process of the industrial pattern in Lanzhou,the influencing factors and dynamic mechanism are explored.From the evolution of Lanzhou’s industrial pattern,Lanzhou’s industrial pattern has its unique development vein and has derived valuable regional culture.Lanzhou’s modern industry began with the Westernization Movement in the late Qing Dynasty;In the period of the Republic of China,the industrial development was extremely unbalanced,disorderly and lacking of systematic planning;After the founding of new China,due to the state’s efforts to strengthen the economic construction in the western region,during the period of the " First Five-Year Plan " and the Soviet Union’s assistance to China,the state tilted toward Gansu.The industrial pattern of Lanzhou was completely opened and the industry flourished.The development and layout of industrial land in Lanzhou was a concentrated layout,forming the basic situation of "three regions sharing prosperity" in Lanzhou’s industrialization;During the "third tier construction" period,the industrial space in the city presented the characteristics of "internal integration" and "external overflow",which caused the vertical and horizontal extension of urban industry.The layout of industrial space was based on the concentration of key industrial layout areas and the diffusion of new industrial space;In the late period of reform and opening up,under the guidance of the general policy of reasonable adjustment of industrial layout,industrial layout was reduced,industrial land was reduced,industrial functions and urban construction were contradictory,industrial pattern was changed,transformation and relocation became the theme of industrial pattern,industrial space was sharply reduced in the main urban area,and industrial space in the peripheral areas was scattered.Secondly,the present situation of Industrial Relics in Qilihe district of Lanzhou city was investigated in depth,and the three unreformed Industrial Relics(Lantong factory,Lanzhou locomotive factory and Lanzhou electric power repair and manufacturing factory)were taken as examples to classify and analyze their relics,and the characteristics of Industrial Relics in Qilihe district were summarized in terms of spatial pattern and morphology.The spatial pattern mainly includes the following two aspects:(1)There are many types and large quantities of Relics: there are many types of Industrial Relics in Qilihe district,including buildings(factory buildings and auxiliary buildings),structures(cranes and their auxiliary facilities,factory doors and sculptures),plant signs and slogans,various types of landscape trees,equipment and raw materials,traffic facilities,and related objects.(2)The scale of the remnant factory is large,mainly for mechanical processing.The nature of the industrial remnant in Qilihe district of Lanzhou city has a regular attribute,most of which are locomotive,machinery,machinery and electromechanical equipment manufacturing and maintenance.Based on the present situation and morphological characteristics of the Industrial Relics,this paper analyzes and summarizes the four problems faced by the protection and reuse of the Industrial Relics in Lanzhou:(1)The status of the protection and utilization of the industrial relics is ambiguous;(2)Weak awareness of coordinated development of industrial relics;(3)Lack of policies for the protection and utilization of industrial relics;(4)The evaluation system of industrial relics is not perfect.Thirdly,the regional value of Industrial Relics in Qilihe district is analyzed and summarized from four levels.These four levels are history,culture,technology and art;City memory level;Landscape ecology and urban coordinated development.Based on the regional value,the industrial heritage value evaluation system is constructed.The system is constructed from three aspects: the determination of evaluation indicators,the distribution of value weights and the evaluation of industrial heritage.The evaluation indicators are divided into three levels,including four first level indicators,ten level indicators and twenty third level indicators.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is applied to the value weight.According to the evaluation index and index weight,the unreformed industrial heritage sites and different types of industrial heritage are compared and assigned,and the retention levels are divided,and then the value of different industrial heritage in Qilihe district is evaluated,providing a data basis for the protection and utilization strategy.Fourth,build a strategic system of protection and utilization.Industrial park in the city remains assignment according to regional value evaluation system and grading,fusion "strengthening regional characteristics of value","historical and cultural continuation" protection of concept,using "the city as a whole protection utilization strategy","region protection utilization strategy","resource points protection utilization strategy" three protection using the strategy,It is implemented in three protection and utilization modes: "protection mode","utilization mode" and "transformation mode".For the "protection mode",it adopts the overall protection and local applicability reuse,and uses the cultural,educational,leisure and entertainment facilities with the industrial landscape as the background.As for the "utilization mode",in addition to determining the key protection contents and elements,moderate transformation is adopted to realize the integration and regeneration of the original value function and urban development function by means of reuse.For the "transformation mode",large-scale transformation can be adopted,which is mainly updated and developed,and embellished with symbols and elements of industrial history.Lanzhou city industrial heritage region value needs to be continued in urban renewal and urban design,we not only need to explore the reason and mechanism of structure evolution,to explore the problems existing in the lanzhou city industrial heritage protection and utilization of the present stage,the construction of the corresponding evaluation system,from the concept of protection,protection using the mining methods and protected mode,better protect and exploit strategy,industry in lanzhou with a view to urban development and industrial protection and utilization integration and win-win.
