This thesis research shift quality when vehicle is shifting. Dual Clutch TransmissionSimulation model which is based on clutch friction analysis and torque control is made byMATLAB/Simulink. A clutch control strategy for shift quality is made by simulationexperiment and used for power shift rule. Main content as follows:1) Engine throttle and clutch control are analysed for their affect of shift quality.Simulation model is made after dynamics analysis of Vehicle beginning stage, analyse thesimulation result and draw a conclusion that Engine throttle affect shift quality more, thenuse Orthogonal experimental design to test and verify the conclusion.2) methods for judgement of clutch friction change time and early clutch junction aremade by clutch friction analysis process of shift stage. Clutch friction control is key pointof shift quality, and call the clutch which is working low-shift clutch, call the clutch whichwill work high-shift clutch, then sort the process of clutch friction as low-shift singlefriction stage, dual friction stage and high-shift single friction stage. Use the relationship ofTheoretical transmission torque and maximum transmission torque with analysis of clutchfriction and torque change to account for negative theory transmission torque and give thejudgement when low-shift clutch begin slip, so that calculation of friction will be moreaccuracy. A method of early clutch junction is made to make shift time shorter and frictionlower which use rotate speed as factor to control.3) Dual Clutch Transmission simulation model which use clutch torque as import ismade to improve shift quality. Shift process is analysed by learned operating principleļ¼Œandevaluation indicator of shift quality is made. Modify the factors of Linear torque pressurecurve based on analysis of clutch friction process and evaluation indicator of shift qualityand determine control factor for clutch torque control, then use MATLAB/Simulink tomake a simulation model of Dual Clutch Transmission shift model.4) Summarize a clutch strategy based on analysis of shift process from gear1to gear2to improve shift quality. Use different value of control factor to simulate and analyse theeffect of shift quality, then summarize a clutch strategy to improve shift quality whichmake low-shift clutch to finish work without slip and high-shift clutch to finish workearlier with a suitable time.5) Use the clutch strategy for power shift rule and simulate the process of shift-up,analyse the result and summarize the change of friction. Make a reference for further shift quality research.
