| With the continuous improvement of people’s income as well as the rapiddevelopment of the automotive industry, the cars have become more and more families asan integral part of the transport. At the same time, the cars also have a lot of problems.Especially with the development of highways, the cars’ driving speed is improved. At thesame time, people increasingly aim at high requirements of automotive comfort andsecurity. In the process of moving, cars’ brake noise has become the owners mostannoyance, which led to a series of disputes. Therefore, the study and control of brakenoise has become one of the brake system design and manufacture key consideration.Brake noise is deemed to the automobile brake braking noise. The emergence of theshort and low chirp or whole braking process of howling is intermittent, or even random.Generally, the disc brake of the brake noise mechanism is through the friction plate andthe friction between the brake disc friction and vibration, and transmits through a certainpath. Disc brakes’ brake noise can be divided into3categories: low noise, low whistle, and high-frequency howling. Low frequency noise is mainly with the brake disc and thefriction disc interactions between related. Low whistle is the main brake system partcaused by the mode coupling. High-frequency howling is mainly correlative with thebrake disk circumferential resonance. There are many factors of the brake noise. Execpt the components and the inherent characteristics of the friction plate, it also closely related to the components of the brake. Therefore in order to reduce the brake noise between the braking members, people shouldanalyze the brakes as a system.Based on the above consideration, and the study and control technology which basedson research of domestic and foreign automotive brake noise, according to the testtechnical and analytical theory of the disc brake noise, we carried out the test spectrumanalysis, coherent analysis of the relevant for the noise information and frequencyspectrum. We get the system natural frequeney and mode shapes by the three-dimensionalmodeling and finite element calculations of the parts. After contrast of the results, wefound that the main reason of the brake noise in the braking process is resonance, whichcan give help to optimizing the design of the brake, and reducing the brake noise. |
