The steel industry is an important pillar of the national economy, which provides essentialmaterials for all types of infrastructure. Due to the slowdown of current development pace ofeconomic, the energy saving, the consumption reducing and the economic structure transformingin the form are the main jobs raised by the state. The temperature indicators of furnace arecontrolled by butterfly valve and actuator. Butterfly valve and actuator normal operating directlyaffect the energy consumption level of furnace and decide the quality of products. So this paperpresents the study of butterfly valve and actuator, proposes a reasonable temperature controlmeasures of butterfly valve and actuator. Ensure furnace normal operating, through analysis ofthree-dimensional modeling and simulation of the butterfly valve. After on-site implementation,statistical scene transformation butterfly valve and the temperature of the implementing agenciesand the failure rate, Ensure the effectiveness of the control measures of the butterfly valvesystem temperature.Firstly, pointed out the high temperature phenomena and the consequences of butterfly valveand actuator in a factory hot-rolling furnace hot air pipeline. The four factors are analyzed thataffect the temperature of butterfly valve and actuator. And some reasonable temperaturecontrolling is presented. The corresponding CAD/CAE three-dimensional models of butterflyvalve and actuator are established.Secondly, the temperature of butterfly valve and actuator under the protection strategies iscalculated in the analysis software of Fluent. Comparison the before temperature value,temperature control measures of the butterfly valve system can play a significant cooling effect.And the thermal stress of butterfly valve and actuator is calculated in the ANSYS. The resultsshow that the thermal stress of the butterfly valve and the implementing agencies are less thanthe allowable stress. The flow distribution of pipeline internal is simulated in Fluent and provesthat the measures do not affect the air flow characteristics within the pipeline.Finally, butterfly valve and the implementing agencies are transformed in the field work.Temperature measurement and failure rate statistics are showing that the measures are wellsatisfied with the actual production after the transformation.In this paper, through the finite element software can verify the practicality and reliability ofthe butterfly valve system temperature control measures. In the production, the implementationof the measures of the butterfly valve temperature control system reduce the temperature and thefailure rate of the butterfly valve and the implementing agencies, improve product quality of theheating furnace.
