China’s railway level has developed to a high level,no matter in technology or in speed,it has reached the leading position in the world. With the development of the passenger rail line day by day,all kinds of the technologies has been advanced rapidly, communication and network technology is the nervous system, the significant and key technology,the important impetus in progress of the high-speed rail. Railway communication ensure the normal operation of the train,the transportation operation and management work smoothly through the information collection, processing, transmission and control and working together with other departments. And transmission system is an important part of the communication network, the transmission system restricts the development of the railway network directly.This paper expounds the development of railway communication and SDH network which is the key role in the network and railway transport, the construction project of shanghai-hangzhou passenger special communication network are introduced. The main work and achievements are as follows:1. research the signal frame structure and reuse princple of communication network SDH technology and network structure,all kinds of network protection mechanism of SDH.2. Introduces the professional application of SDH network technology in the passenger special railway communication, aims at the the construction and maintenance requirements of shanghai-hangzhou passenger special line, combine the specialized to professional communication, it puts forward the network scheme,in consideration of system reliability in the network structure and the protection methods.3. Through the shanghai-hangzhou passenger special cable line fiber use planning, along with reference to the station and the interval distance between nodes, according to the light relay distance calculation, this paper puts forward reasonable transmission backbone layer, convergence layer, access layer set site and equipment configuration scheme.4. Puts forward that in the project implementation stage,the division of work boundary of transmission network and the fiber optic cable line, switched network, data network, power and other communication system.5. Through the testing work, shanghai-hangzhou passenger special transmission system performance index accords with a requirement, laids a solid foundation for the opening of shanghai-hangzhou high-speed line operation. In the process of later construction of high-speed line and the passenger rail line, we can take this project construction as the reference, at the same time,we also need further analysis of the problems and puzzles which are found, it plays a more and more important role through the system network optimization and equipment improvement to advance the stability and reliability of communication system.
