The Urbanization Strategy Evolution And Theoretical Exploration Of Zheiiang Province

Urbanization is a major trend of the development of human society. Urbanization is largely a natural product of industrialization in western developed countries. However, due to the differences of the background and circumstances, in China, the government has a lot of intervention on urbanization. Urbanization is largely a decision of the government and the economic and social development strategy, rather than industrialized spontaneous product.Zhejiang Province’s huge economic energy and rapid urbanization make it occupy an important position in China. The strategic decision-making and theoretical exploration of its urbanization are innovative. And the research of these contents will provide important operational practice of reference for Yangtze River Delta, the southeast coast and even China’s urbanization. The Summary of Zhejiang urbanization theory exploration is also a supplement to the existing theoretical studies of urbanization in China. In addition, the paper systematically analyze the evolution of Zhejiang’s urbanization. strategy and theory from China’s beginning of reform and opening up and summarizes their evolution law and practical development, this is a greater sense of innovation.This paper reviews the urbanizatioin strategy and theory in history, combines the Zhejiang urbanization background and the process, study the evolution of the urbanization strategy in Zhejiang Province from the longer time dimension,and finally summes up three strategic stages:"small towns, the county massive economic strategy","urbanization strategy","new urbanization strategy". Then paper summarizes each stage’s urbanization theoritical exploration from the urbanization mode, dynamic mechanism, spatial processes,systm and regional and urban Planning. Finally,this paper makes some recommendations for Zhejiang’s future urbanization.
