The severe weather conditions and serious vehicle overload of seasonal frozen regions in Inner Mongolia lead to early destruction in different levels on the asphalt pavement and poor road service, which seriously affect the local economic development. It is essential to solve the phenomenon of the early destruction and improve the service life of the asphalt pavement. In the light of the local climate characteristics, the research on the perpetual pavement has important practical significance.According to the functional requirements of asphalt pavement, a suitable index of interlayer disposal technology, which is based on the optimization design of asphalt mixture and validation of the road performance, is established along with comparison with the present indexs to achieve the perpetual pavement. Then the optimum dosage of interlayer materials can be determined by using orthogonal test to optimize the adhesive layer and the transparent layer, which ensures the pavement performance and meets the requirement of perpetual pavement. In order to verify the results, a test road is built on a section of Arong Banner to POK on the national road of SuiMan. Through this test, research on the index of construction technology and quality is performed, providing theoretical basis and practical experience for the perpetual asphalt pavement in seasonal frozen regions.
