The functional,structural destruction and others that shortened service life of asphalt Pavement occurred in the Semri-rigi base asphalt pavment constructed in the seasonal frozen region under actions of the load,frozen factors and etc. Therefore, for satisfying the growing traffics and prolonging the service life of pavement, using the design idea of perpetual asphalt Pavements aboard,combing the environment and traffic characteristics of Northeast and studing perpetual pavements has great theoretical significance and useing value.This paper begins with investigation, analyzes the road working environment,load composition and asphalt pavement destruction characteristics in typical seasonal frozen region of JinLin. Then, taking the the design idea of perpetual asphalt pavement aboard as the foundation and combing the current design index of asphalt pavement in china, this paper put forward the t design flow and index of the perpetual asphalt pavement in the Seasonal Frozen Region. At the same time, according to the structure function requirement of long-life pavement, the paper analyzes the special structure layers and reasonable base style of perpetual pavement in the seasonal frozen region. On this basis, taking the tensile strain at the bottom of asphalt layer,the tensile stress at the bottom of semi-rigid material layer and the compressive strain at the top of subgrade as the control index of the pavement thickness, the paper carries on the thorough analysis and researches to the structure thickness of flexible basement,Semi-rigid basement and compound basement perpetual pavement with Bisar 3.0, recommends the three kinds of perpetual asphalt pavement stuctures suitable for the different loads and subgrades of the seasonal frozen region, and gives the steps of structure thickness determination.In order to verify and promote the indoor research results, the study has surfaced six kinds of long-life testing road on Chang-Hun highway, among which two kinds of compound base long-life asphalt pavement structure are popularized and applied on the whole route of Chang-Hun highway in Jilin (223.6km) .Meanwhile, the paper study on the construction technology and construction quality control of JiLin perpetual trial pavement, and supply theoretical basis and practical experience for constructing perpetual asphalt pavement in the seasonal frozen region of Northeast in future.
