Study On The Recreation Behavior Of Park In Huhhot

This paper adopts the questionnaire, interview and observation to investigate into the recreational activity of the visitors in the Qingcheng Park and Man Douhai Park, the main content of the investigation includes the visitors’personal information、behavioral characteristic、degree of satisfaction with the facilities in the park and the relationship between the environment and recreational activities. The conclusion shows that:(1) Personal circumstances:26.65%of the visitors are51to60years old, and more than half of the visitors are women. More than56.31%visitors have college degree or above and non-staff people accounted for45.97%.(2) Behavioral characteristic:The visitors pay a visit to the parks from9:00-12:00accounted for32.32%and in summer and autumn they up to accounted for77.85%. About43.92%visitors at least come to the park once a day of them,76.70%visitors’duration of stay in the park from1to5hours. The most distance between their house and the park are less then3km. they aim at exercising accounted for30.03%.(3) Degree of satisfaction to the facilities in the park:Most visitors are pleased with plant mulching, accounted for89.08%. Recreation facilities gain the highest satisfaction up to83.39%.(4)The relationship between recreation behavior and the environment:Exercise requires a flat ground with small slope. Relaxations require good rest facilities. Among appointment, dating requires quiet private space. Gatherings during holidays need wide venue, show the directionality of venue by means of the difference in height and pavement. Art recreation behavior need a semi-enclosed space surrounded by lush vegetation. Good environment provide the visitors who prefer to enjoy the sight of beautiful landscape.Based on all these analysis we come to a conclusion that the parks in Hohhot are lack of thematic、 service facilities, maintenance and management are not good enough. Here will make recommendations accordingly.
