The Research Of Recreation Behavior Of Old People In Comprehensive Park Area In Wuhan

In the modern era, with the high-speed development of the social economy andtechnology, the global population structure has also undergone changes, the agingpopulation has become a serious problem all over the world. Our country entered theaging society as early as2001; the aging population has brought about differentrequirements and challenges in the economy, society, culture and other aspects of ourcountry. How to make the old people spend their remaining years with physical andmental health has become an urgent issue that needs to solve. In order to create a positiverecreational leisure environment and build a communication bridge between the oldpeople, we need research the recreation behavior of the old people in the comprehensivepark and put forward design suggestions to meet the need of the old people. All of thesehave important practical significance.This paper limits the research range in the city comprehensive park in Wuhan, wetake the recreation behavior of the old people as the object of this paper. This paper focuson the recreation behavior of the old people in the Wuhan city comprehensive park, usingliterature research, behavior observing method and questionnaire survey to get thewanted data. These theoretical foundations can be the theoretical support and can give ussome design suggestions of the park design.The structure of this paper is as follows: Firstly, we describe the researchbackground in detail to lead the problem. Secondly, we summary and analysis the relatedtheories to find out the way to solve the problem. Thirdly, we conduct the field researchof the recreation behavior of the old people in the Wuhan city comprehensive park toacquire specific research material. Base on the data we get, we discuss the recreationmotivation, the field of recreation behavior, behavior characteristics as well as the spatialpatterns of recreation behavior in the recreational activities of the old people. At last, onthe basis of the research data and the theory, we put forward the design recommendationsfor the city comprehensive park, including the spatial patterns, facilities and landscapeplants.
