Wind power generation is a new type of energy transformation and utilization technology.It has already developed to be a mature technology. But it’s not easy to find a satisfied solution of wind power’s grid and dispatching problem due to the uncertainty of wind speed.In this paper, we research and analysis the wind power’s grid problems.According to the characteristic of wind power,we set up wind power generation model and merge it into conventional power grid, then we put forward the major goal of the electric dispatching: economic cost, environment pollution and so on and we also consider all kinds of constraint conditions.Then we introduce leapfrog firefly algorithm to this paper, which is the combinationof leapfrog algorithm and firefly algorithm.The step is at first we evolve the population with firefly algorithm, then we go on partial depth optimization by leapfrog algorithm.Repeat this until we find satisfied solution.We improve the algorithm in three aspects, firefly step length is decied by attract degree and we make the firefly individual move to the global optimum by probability and we also add simulated annealing thought that makes the individual update to bad solution by probability.These improve the algorithm’s global search ability and local search ability.Then we test the effect of the improved algorithm with three functions.At last,the leapfrog algorithm is used to find a optimal solution of electric system’s economic dispatch problem.Then we compare the result with basic firefly algorithm and particle swarm algorithm and the result shows the superiority of leapfrog algorithm in population convergence speed and found optimal solution.
