As one of important component of the naval cannon, the ammunition conveyor system plays key role in conveying ammunition to emission system quickly、 accurately and reliably, it’s function influence and determine the function of shipboard weapon systems directly. Comparing with foreign countries, nowadays, Chinese technologies in this field fall behind largely. Therefore, the research on new ammunition conveyor system has significant meaning.The paper combines the finite element method with the multi-body system simulation analysis software to establish flexible multi-body dynamics models, obtains its dynamic loads of working comprehensively and accurately, and analyzes the dynamic stress and deformation with the finite element method. Based on the multi-body dynamics theory, with Digital computers as the experimental system, the paper establishes the machine models of ammunition emission system in the ADAMS software, processes the simulation experiment, and analyzes the results of the simulation experiment.As the complexity of the system, the results of the simulation experiment in the ADAMS software proved the feasibility of the design, therefore, the virtual prototype simulation plays important roles in improving the traditional design process and shortening the development cycle. It also provides bases for further improving design, its design method also provides theoretical origins for developing other simulation software and improving traditional design method.
