Research On Power Transformer Anti-theft Alarm System Base On GSM

A combination of circumstances, such as the soaring price of the copper, has led to a meteoric rise in stealing of copper conductor from the power transformers in the country and the rural area. The stealing of the copper conductor in the power transformers will not only paralyze the electric power system, but also influence the economic construction and the work and daily living of the residents in both town and country. To solve these problems, this study combined the technique of GSM wireless network with the technique of single chip microcomputer. This study designed an alarming system that sending alarming message by GSM service. This alarming system can be widely used in preventing the stealing of guardless equipment.The alarming system includes two core techniques, one is the STC89C52chip-microcomputer, and the other is the Siemens TC35i. This study elaborated in the following aspects:the current research on power transformer anti-theft system, the overall design idea of the system, the circuit of the hardware design and the function of the software and the system debugging.In the design of hardware module, STC89C52is the main controller of the alarming system; the paper has completed the design of the power circuits, clock circuits, and reset circuits. Further more, the peripheral circuits design of the TC35i module is another key point of hardware design, including ignition circuit, SIM card circuit, furthermore, having completed the serial port communication between single-chip computer and TC35i.In the design of software, I have used the C programming language and have controlled the TC35i through AT command and have compiled the operation procedure of the serial port. I coded the message with the TEXT mode, according to the ETSI/GSM protocol. Sending alarming message to the superior machine and the authorized cell phones by GSM module and realizing the remote wireless motoring of the power transformer.After the completion of the design of the hardware and software, the debugging and testing of the system were done. Moreover, the study has improved the system referring to the results of testing. Finally, the basic function and technique performance were realized.
