Considering the long-term profit of the power supply company,it's important to develop a power transformer anti-theft system which is reliable and smart.The smart power transformer anti-theft system can prevent the power transformer from stealing,and then keep the industrial producing and residential daily lives normal.Currently,the main method to protect the power transformer and other facilities relies on the staff members of the power supply company and the security forces of the local government,who check the facilities routinely.The method is high cost and not efficient.Since the development of electrical technology,the prices of sensor,microcontroller and communication module fall.Using the anti-theft technology instead of people's checking is the tendency.The anti-theft system is designed based on the features of transformers' stealing cases in Baiyun district in Guangzhou.Firstly the system collects the signals from the infrared sensor and the vibration sensor.The infrared sensor and the vibration sensor works while the stealing cases is probably happening.Once detects the signals,the microcontroller gives orders to the communication module.Then the communication module can send alarmed messages to certain persons through GSM network.So the staff members of power supply company will know the stealing cases as soon as possible.The anti-theft system,which may lower the cost of management and promote the working efficiency in power supply company,has meanings in places where the rate of power transformer stealing cases is high.
