Architectural expression, from the professional point of view, including the main plane, elevation, section and perspective. Size data, the structure the ornamentation could be presented in these drawings, the floor, wall, or top are also well recognized in them. However, The art of architecture lies in the part which can not be shown on the drawings, is the invisible space which enclosed by all visible part. If the building is a book, space is a word, it is always the most important role of the building, ti can not be expressed in any way, but only through direct experience to perceive and understand. In the period of ancient Greek architecture, as a giant sculpture dedicated to the gods, in the period of Roman architecture as a symbol of power, or in the Gothic architectural period as the deiform space, architectural space always has nothing to do with the real people and the human experience. Until Renaissance architectural space began to be linked with human proportion, began to consider the human experience, began to research the rules of space composition and organization according to the human vision, action, and psychology. While coming the modern architecture period, emotional and humane architecture become a relentless pursuit of a group of architects, the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto once said:"The latest issue of modern design is to breakthrough technology areas into areas of human and psychological with a rational approach.During developing, architecture constantly learning a variety of different ideas, concepts, methods and technology from other disciplines. In looking for an approach for building space to get into human psychology and emotions to obtain the sympathize response, narratology comes into the architect’s vision. Narratology focus on the reader’s reading experience, the interpretation of the works, as well as rational analysis of the composition and organizational structure, start with a rational structure, finalized to the emotional experience of the reader, this pursuit tallies closely with the goal of architecture, which is to create a perceptual space with rational approaches. In all these years of research and development, narratology has from a single literary narrative, turning into a multi-directional interdisciplinary area, especially in combination with a variety of art forms such as music, dance, painting and theater, all these no doubt could provide valuable experience and theoretical basis for the expression of narrative theory in the architecture field. The combination of narratology and architecture, whatever in domestic or foreign is a relatively new issue, and is not mature in both theory and practice. This thesis attempts to analyze the narrative literature, plays as a reference, drawing on cinematic architecture and phenomenology, to analyze the expression of the narrative in the architectural space. In another hand, according to analysis a large number of cases, sum up a series of skills of narrative space design.
