After nearly500years ofsedimentation, Zhuang Tusi Yashu building is the roof pierced windows, cornices,exquisite decoration and so on all exude charm, all with a strong impact on our visualnerve, without exception, give us a visual enjoyment and shock.The paper firstly analyzes the facade renovation design principles and methods.Facade renovation design should be subordinated to the town of unified planning,adhere to the aesthetic, economic and sustainable development principle. The facaderenovation design, when the original building cultural meaning, follow the samepattern space, don’t get around much anymore feelings and other issues, we need to“building, environment,” the relationship between the three to undertake reflectionafresh, need to use semiology and the phenomenological method.
