Simulation Research Of Cargo Transporting On Large Freighter

Shipping is an important part of moden logistics, Simulating the cargo transportation onfreighter enables to observe the process of cargo transporting and the scheduling oftransported resources, thus check out whether the resulting cargo transportation scheme isreasonable and finally analyze the performance of the cargo transporting system.In the paper, first, analyze the components of the cargo transporting system, cargotransporting process and its characteristics, and then summarize various factors affecting thecargo transportation. Through above analysis, in this paper, the Petri net model of the cargotransporting process on freighter is established which can effectively reflect phenomenataking place during the transporting process such as concurrence, asynchronization, conflictsand resource sharing. Then, hierarchically modeling procedures of the cargo transportation isproposed and the Hierarchical Colored Petri net model of the cargo transporting process isadopted.In order to dynamically simulate the Petri net model, Petri net simulation module of thecargo transporting process is designed. Adopt object-oriented technology, analyze thefoundation of Petri net simulation, and perform the dynamic operation of the Petri net modelof cargo transporting process which used the least event scheduling method. Determine thescheduling scheme of transported resources using rule-based heuristic algorithms, if thescheduling scheme is unknown and do the transporting process simulation on its basis so as tocombine the Petri net simulation and the scheduling scheme. After the simulation is done,performance indexes of the cargo transporting system on freighter are obtained by analyzingthe simulation results and the bottleneck of the transporting process is determined.In this paper, object-oriented technologies are adopted, and freighter cargo transportingsimulation system that is based on Petri nets is developed; the creation, modification, accessand simulation and statistic analysis of simulation data of the Petri net model is done; thefeasibility of the system is proved by instantiating the system. The system has certaingenerality and provides a good aid to DEDS simulation.
