Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has advantages of highefficiency, great power density, and perfect speed-regulation performance, etc. Inrecent years, PMSM drive control system has been widely used in a variety ofdrive systems, new energy vehicles, and other fields, the vector controltechnology is famous for its good control performance and simple algorithm. Thedissertation applied the vector control method on PMSM drive control system,and designed the current controller with integral separation control and thefuzzy-PI dual-mode control speed regulator, which constituted the dual closed-loop regulation.Firstly, the mathematical model of PMSM was deduced in this dissertation,and the basic principles of vector control were analyzed, the maximum torque-per-ampere (MTPA) control strategy was used according to the practicalapplications of the PMSM. Based on the analysis of space vector pulse widthmodulation (SVPWM) principle and realizing method, aimed at theunsatisfactory situation of traditional PI regulator in practical vector controlsystem applications, this dissertation designed a vector control system withimproved current and speed controllers. The PMSM drive control systemsimulation model was built in MATLAB/Simulink environment, and simulationstudies were taken, the output response waveform of the PMSM drive controlsystem with conventional PI control and the improved speed and currentcontrollers were given, the compared results between these two methods verifiedthe effectiveness of the PMSM vector control system. The hardware system andsoftware control program of the PMSM drive controller based on TMS320F2812was designed, and the main part of hardware circuit and the program flow chart were described. Finally, a PMSM drive control system experiment bench wasbuilt, and the experimental researches were taken, the experiment results showedthat the system has rational design, satisfactory control effect and practical value.
