As the development of the plane design technology, the3D machining process designtechnique as one of the important aspects of digital manufacturing engineering, and it hasbeen noted by more people. The traditional CAPP system has been difficult to apply to thedevelopment of modern aircraft, so we need to develop the based on3D model process designsystem, and adapt to the requirements of modern aircraft development. So the3D machiningprocess design is of great importance to the development of future plane design. The researchwork and the main contents of this paper include:(1) Analysising machine parts and process of our aviation manufacturing enterprise.Through investigate and analysis, we know that aircraft parts machining production processand the processing method be widely used of aviation manufacturing enterprise productionaircraft parts,and how to formulate process planning and process design.(2) Studying the definition method of3D machining process information model and theconnection of internal data. We research and analysis how to show geometric elements andnon geometrical element of3D process information model, and illustrates the relationshipbetween these data, the methods of expression, organization and management.(3) Studying3D machining process design technology. First, study and analyze how tocreate the3D manufacturing process model, and discusses3D step-by-step design technology,and research3D process model feature recognition and building process model, associationand dynamic editing of based on feature of the process model the information and3D processdesign process.(4) Researching the3D process model release and application technology. Study thegraphics and information association technologies between3D process model and parts model,and dynamic correlation technology between process model and production plan mappingmodel. Last, this paper discusses the3D process release tools, the development technology ofbrowser and3D process model release technology standard.Finally, we concluded a based on3D model3D machining process design theoretical system and technology framework. An example is presented to demonstrate the technologyresearch of full text, and puts forward several suggestions for future research.
