The research of MBD technology has developed along with the development of digital technology.The preparation and design efficiency of NC machining technology has improved by using MBD technology in the field of process planning for aircraft structural parts and the management of process data information can be realized.It is one of the hotspots currently.Otherwise,MBD technology is not used along the whole course of NC machining process planning.Product 3D model and its engineering information can't be used directly for the preparation of machining process.This paper studied the key technologies and basic applications of NC machining process design for aircraft structural parts.The main work and results acquired are as follows:1.The process of MBD NC machining process design was analyzed and the NC machining process modeling based on MBD was researched.Rapid modeling of multi-process MBD models and the relationship of process models were realized.2.A machining feature recognition method for thin-walled and multi-cavity structural parts was put forward.Machining features could be recognized concurrently every cavity to improve recognition efficiency based on the idea of parallelism.A hybrid recognition method based on rules,layer and feature suppression was used to recognize each kind of machining features so that the process of recognizing intersecting features was simplified.The rapid and automatic recognition of3 D thin-walled and multi-cavity structural parts was realized.3.Process sequencing method for thin-walled and multi-cavity structural parts was studied.The process constraints were studied to meet the requirement of machining,the machining order of intersecting features and some quality requirements.The effectiveness of chromosomes were improved by adding regrouping step into genetic algorithm based on the proposed process constraints.Optimized sequence of machining efficiency could be obtained.4.A prototype system of NC machining process based on MBD technology for aircraft structural parts was designed.The function of recognizing machining features,process sequencing,modeling of NC machining process based on MBD and the integration with CAM were realized.An instance part was used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system.
