The main research of the damage theory and technology are the mechanism and technology of ammunition on the target, the target vulnerability and appraisal theory. The final purpose of ammunition combat is to realize the damage on the target, making the target lost the ability to fight. The development of the proximity damage theory and technology, is not only the basis for the design of weapons systems, protective system, but also guide the scientific basis for battlefield use the proximity weapons, has an important guiding significance for the development and use of weapons and equipment. Virtual simulation technology has been widely applied to the training and acting, through the field data collection and real-time three-dimensional damage simulation, saving military expenditure, and achieved good simulation effect, and the research of the same kind of virtual simulation has reference significance.In order to study the proximity of target damage effect, The paper using the method of probability and mathematical statistics, studied the statistical law of explosion point location, obtained the statistical results that the burst point distribution meet exponential distribution, and through the probability.hypothesis testing. According to the different detonation point, studied the damage efficiency of the fragment for the target, puts forward to adopt Poisson probability distribution function analysis fragment group distribution rule. According to the target features and Poisson probability, using the target center to establish damage vulnerable area of the mathematical damage model. Through the flinders damage each tank section full probability and mutual independence hypothesis, researched and analyzed the target damage coordinate law, estimated the average number of fragments hit the target. According to the related parameters of fragment dispersion area and target intersection, calculating the target damage probability, analyzed the parameter calculation method of the mathematical model. According to the design model, and gives out the fragment of target damage probability distribution of simulation results. Matlab is used in the simulation of the mathematical model, validated the accuracy and feasibility of the simulation.Based on studying the characteristics of the flying target, using virtual reality simulation technology, taking advantage of Creator and Vega, completed the establishment of entity model and virtual scene rendering, completed the development of simulation system, fully demonstrated from modeling, path navigation settings, collision detection to eventually achieved the target flight, and obtained relatively good results in the simulation test.
