In recent years, the application of cold-formed steel in the project is more and more widely, due to the thin-walled, light weight, excellent mechanical properties storey industrial factory and low-rise steel structure villa has a large number of applications, but the application in multi-storey residential is still very small. In the lightweight steel construction, the node performance has been a structural focus of the study, there are defects in the construction and performance of bolted connections and weld connections, this article focuses on the self-tapping screws to connect the cold-formed steel in multi-storey residential structure and bearing capacity of performance of some of the nodes. In addition, H beam is a sectional area of distribution is more optimized stronger weight than a more rational and efficient economic section profiles, because all parts of the H-shaped steel was at right angles to the arrangement, the H beam in all directions. with anti-bending ability, construction, cost savings, and light weight of the structure, has been widely used. This article will introduce a small cross-section H-shaped steel instead of cold-formed steel columns, analysis of its carrying capacity and economic performance, and compared with cold-formed thin-walled type steel columns. In this paper, experimental studies, nonlinear finite element simulation and theory calculation three ways will be used in the cold bending of thin-walled steel combination wall related research on the node. The main work:1. Experimental study of multi-layer cold-formed steel bottom composite wall. Study on wall node in the vertical load and low levels of cyclic loading under force.2. The use of large-scale structure calculation software ANSYS10.0Finite Element Analysis of the top beam in the wall and the side column, the top beam and column node, the process of considering the influence of material nonlinearity and geometric nonlinearity on the performance of nodes bearing capacity. By finite element analysis and experimental results prove the rationality and correctness of the simulation method.3. The introduction of small cross-section H-shaped steel instead of the side column, to use ANSYS10.0simulation analysis of the wall beams and H-type steel column connected nodes.
