Research On Planning System Of Underground Space Of Changchun

Because of the rapid development of urban construction in Changchun in recent years, the level of urbanization keeps increasing, and the urban land area has greatly expended. The intensified construction leads to series of problems, including traffic jams, lack of development space in city center, and municipal pipes chaos. These difficult problems can be effectively solved by utilizing underground space. However, it is relatively difficult to develop underground space and the investment is very high. Furthermore, to recover or rebuild underground space is extremely hard once it is started. So a scientific and reasonable planning is necessary and compulsory. Currently Changchun has practical conditions to construct large-range underground space. But the preparation of the studies about planning system and the planning depth are not yet mature. These studies are now quite urgent.Through the research of domestic and international experiences about underground space construction, and combined with the Changchun City Metro Project, it is probable to summarize the problems of underground space construction currently and the basic pattern of development of underground space in Changchun. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the basic ideas of underground space planning in Changchun, to construct a set of scientific planning system, and to propose relevant suggestions of safeguard measures to the implementation.Based on the planning of underground space of Changchun, the content, depth and major task on different levels of underground space in central area of Changchun are researched, in the aim of guiding the construction of underground space in right order.
