With the rapid development of permanent magnet materials, the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM)is widely used in modern industrial drive system for its high efficiency, simple structure and operation. China has a high output of rare earth ore and rare earth permanent magnet, developing efficient and suitable PMSM for different situations is greatly signify energy conservation and the development of green energy. This paper research how the PMSM’s structure affect its working characteristics, and puts forward some countermeasures to improve the working performance of the motor, finally programming method of optimizing the structure of PMSM. This paper analysis motor in a more accurate way-field and circuit combined method, the paper mainly completed the following research work:1. Calculate PMSM’s output power, torque, cogging torque and working characteristics based on circuit analysis, and looking for ways to optimizing the cogging torque. Writing a program based on VB to analysis PMSM’s working characteristics, and analysis the specific motor to verify the program’s correctness.2. Using finite element method(FEM) to analysis the static and transient field of PMSM, calculate the induction voltage, torque, work characteristics, and some key parameters, finally the paper analyze the results form magnetic circuit analysis and FEM, laying the foundation of field and circuit combined analysis method.3. Writing a PMSM optimization program based on VB, which optimizing PMSM on field and circuit combined analysis method.
