With the development of large rotating machinery, large rotation puts forwardhigher requirements for sliding beairng stability, and the operating conditions of thefilm play a crucial role in beairng stability in the actual operation of the rotor.Traditional solving oil iflm pressure characteirstic is to use the Reynolds equation,itis through a series of hypothesis conditions, simplify N-S equation determined, so itignores many factors in the calculation of the sliding beairng oil iflm characteirstic.Basing on the navier-stokes equation more reliably relfects the actual oil iflmcharacteirstics. For the first time, the paper puts forward the common and differencepoints between based on CFD and based on the Reynolds equation in the calculationof oil iflm pressure characteristics of sliding bearing, proved that there areadvantages to based on CFD calculation of oil iflm pressure characteristic of thesliding beairng. The obtained optimal oil iflm thickness of cylindircal bearing wasequal to the best oil film thickness in actual operation through the simulation, and theoil iflm thickness effect on the stability of the rotor was analyzed. The first simulatedthe oil iflm pressure properties of elliptical bearing, and simulation results of the bestovatity was same to best ovality in actual operation, and the best ovality of oil iflmpressure characteristic effect on the stability of the rotor was analyzed, and simulatedthe oil film pressure characteristics three oil wedge, and the features of oil filmpressure efTect on the stability of the rotor was analyzed,and oil film pressurecharacteristics of the three oil wedge sliding bearing, cylindircal bearing, ellipticalbearing was analyzed and compared. Through ANSYS sotfware far the ifrsttime,using physical field coupling analyzed the oil film propetry of the slidingbearing, and analyzing the oil film properties of different film thickness effected onthe rotor vibration amplitude, and revealed the different impact of oil iflm thicknesson the rotor vibration,and the vairation of the rotor vibration amplitude was similar to steam turbine vibration characteristics effected by oil film thickness.
