With the decreasing support of the petroleum energy and the deterioration of theatmospheric environment, Pure Electric Vehicles is recognized by people of all around theworld because of the advantage of the high performance and the zero-pollution. VehicleControl Unit, VCU, as the core component of the Electric Vehicle Control System, thefunction of which needs to be greatly enhanced, the complexity of which is increasing andthe role which plays is vital to ensure the security and the reliability while the electricvehicles traveling. This thesis studied and researched on the Hardware in the LoopSimulation (HILS) System in order to shorten the development cycle of the vehiclecontroller and reduce the costs of the researches and developments.At present, the process of the V-Developments is all well known by people, and thetechnology of the HILSS, which consists of HILS and the prototype-under-test, is widelyused in the development of Vehicle Electronic Control System to run the simulation tests,thereby shorten the development cycle of the vehicle controller and reduce the costs of theresearches and developments.Basic on the understanding of the domestic and international HILSS, this thesisspecifically expounds the function, general structure of the experiment platform and theprinciple of operation. Then according to the actual requirement, this thesis has designed aVCU Hardware in the Loop Simulation System of pure electric car which basic on theDSPACE program. The specific research of this thesis as follows:First, determine the direction of the research. We need to understand pure electricvehicles control unit, understand the research purpose, the development history and theprospects of the Hardware in the Loop Simulation (HILS) System Platform, clear my task inaccordance with the requirement of actual research.Second, put forward the design of the HILSS. Comprehensive analyses the evolvement and the achievement of domestic and international HILSS, and combines with the specificparameters of the VCU-under-test, put forward the general structure of the HILSS andbriefly introduces the principle of operation.Third, design the hardware and software of the HILSS. Select the hardware andsoftware according to the project of the design or the input and output data of theVCU-under-test. The project of the HILSS in this thesis, which used various kinds of cardsdevices and communication apparatus as the CAN bus est. of my research group, is basic onthe DSPACE real-time simulation system.Fourth, use the simulation platform of MATLAB/Simulink, the real-time control toolsof DSPACE and the Control Desk to design the software part of the HILSS. And set up theCAN network to achieve the real-time simulation system of data transmission.Finally, do the experiments of the HILS, test the function and performance of theVCU-under-test, provide the basic platform and do the research for the future of pure electricvehicles.
