According to the data shows our country at the end of2012when the national civiliancar ownership has reached120.89million, growth of private car ownership is still significantto93.09million vehicles, an increase of18.3%. The emergence of more private cars makethe development of automobile maintenance industry in full swing. At the same time as thefast development of auto industry and the wide application of electronic technology,electronic control engine structure is increasingly complex, the bad natural environment anddifferent levels of informal driving, made the frequency of engine failure increases, whichmakes the engine become the focus of the automobile fault diagnosis and detection. Throughinvestigation and today’s maintenance industry training system also has certain problem,such as today’s maintenance training needs in a certain area for commonly, avoid the testingequipment, raw materials, and waste of energy consumption, which severely restricted thesignificantly higher technical level of vehicle maintenance and repair. A variety of computervirtual simulation technology solves the problems of this reality. In this paper, combinedwith today’s advanced computer virtual simulation technology, based on the Flash interactivetechnology to built a set of motor fault detection system, Students can be on the computersimulation car related set of fault point, fault analysis, can be used in the process oftroubleshooting all kinds of virtual instrumentation, such as fault detector, oscillograph, etc.The system prompts the real testing parts, standard testing process, on the analysis of thediagnostic process, make the students in the school of operation to deepen the understandingof the relevant professional knowledge and consolidate, train the students correct automobilefault diagnosis way of thinking, make students master various applications in different faultdiagnosis method, and the ability to use according to the fault situation correspondingdetection instruments, meters. In the process of diagnosis, through observation and analysisof the failure phenomenon, find out the possible cause of the problem, combined withprevious diagnosis experience and use the relevant analysis and detection means todetermine the actual failure. This simulation virtual diagnosis mode enables trainees underinfinite maneuverability training system, the more have the initiative, convenient real-timeview of the training content, self inspection and reduce the training cost and time cost. Now maintenance vehicles of high-tech, maintenance equipment modernization,universal service, the requirement for professional maintenance personnel to the car is alsofacing the new situation. Paper first introduces the research background and significance ofengine fault detection system, combining with the simulation、interactive software and somemainstream platform structures, set a fault detection system. Subsequent detailed introducesthe platform building in the process of3d modeling, animation, rendering, editors anddiagnosis mode of system interface. Finally summarizes the engine fault diagnosis systemand the lack of the virtual interaction development prospects.
