A Study Of Lean Production For Assembly Line On Backhoe Loaders

Lean Production is an effective method of production that helps China’s manufacturing operations to reduce production costs as well as increase operational efficiency in this new era.To M Co.,LTD, how to scientifically use lean manufacturing techniques and tools to optimize the process line, to eliminate the waste during the process of production assembly, to improve the existing assembly line setting, and to enhance on‐site management are the most important affairs demanding prompt solution for the company. In this paper,M Co.,LTD, backhoe loaders assembly line is chosen as the research object. Setting up a group, Through analyzingthe assembly line process,developing a detailed implementation plan, to improve the assembly process layout,balancing the assembly line, standardizing guidance document, designing workshop equipment and Andon information system,finally we enhance the assembly line productivity. In this paper, a comprehensive description is made about the performance as well as the effects of the assembly line after designing and implementing the program of lean production, and the results show that this lean manufacturing programs enhances the productivity and production capacity of the backhoe loaders assembly line, meanwhile, it improves the condition of on‐site management, proving that it meets the expected goals and achieves good economic results.
