The design of tall building structure is often controlled by the deformation. The main reason of the structure lateral displacement is the horizontal load. In this paper, static analysis, the effect of wind loads analysis, modal analysis, seismic accelerate response spectrum analysis, elastic dynamic analysis and elasto-plastic static analysis combining a reinforced concrete tall frame-shearwall structure of an engineering project are carried out by Midas Building(FEM software). We can get from the conceptual of tall building structure of a greater awareness. The finite element analysis of the building not only can put forward data and results for design and construction, but also provide some reference valuable analysis suggestion for the same type structure and stable the foundation for the further research work.This paper is consisted of several parts shown as following.(1) It is established a realistic three-dimensional finite element simulation model corresponded to the actual building after some simplifications.(2) Through calculation and analysis of static modal under dead load, live load and wind load, we derived the non-seismic character of the structure and the wind load calculated under deformation analysis to satisfy the requirements of deformation.(3) The structure of elasto-plastic static (push-over)analysis reveals actual yield mechanisms of the structure under rare earthquake and the emergence of the plastic hinge in the structure. Then it identifies the principle of "strong column weak beam" in the structural design by push-over related curve.(4) After the modal analysis of dynamic modal, we derived the self sustained oscillation character and the main modes of structure. It is derived the anti-seismic character of structure combining the seismic accelerate response plectrum analysis.(5) Based on he calculating results of dynamic time-history analysis, dynamic responses of the structure under seismic ware are obtained and compared it with the spectrum results. According to calculating and analysis results of the structure by Midas Building software internal force and deformation of the structure are obtained. They show that the calculation results are more intuitive to reflect the structure of the force and deformation conditions under wind loads and seismic response analysis. They are entirely feasible and higher precision and fully meet the needs of projeet.
