Construction contracts are the basis and the link of the project stakeholders with their rights, responsibilities and benefits. It will be taken an important role in reducing the risk of the project and completing the intended target for construction enterprises that realizes standardized contract management. However, the ability to control the contract risks of most construction general contractors still exist many problems. Basing on these problems, this paper is a theoretical research for contract risk management. Meanwhile, an actual project is analyzed to provide case reference for contractors.Construction general contractors is the research object in this paper, while contract risk management is the topic. There are three important elements, including designing of contract risks index system, building evaluation model and risk response measures. Firstly, it is summarized that the development of the EPC/D-B mode and present situations of the research on the construction contract risk management. Then theoretical overviews of the construction general contract mode and construction contract risk management are made. Secondly, based on literature reading and questionnaires, the factors affecting the contract risk are selected. AHP and Entropy method are combined to determine the weight, while grey fixed weight cluster method is used to evaluate risks. Finally, specific risk assessment standards and response measures are proposed.A comprehensive index system and evaluation model are completed finally. Detailed risk response measures are put forward. The research is of great significance to provide a reference for the contractors to enhance their contract risk management.
