With China’s rapid economic development and continuous advance of urbanization process, China is on a massive upward rise in motorization, in some cities, especially in large cities, the problem of traffic congestion increasingly serious, to a certain extent, restricts the benign sustainable development of the city. The development of public traffic is the most important method to solve the traffic jam for more and more countries in the world, Bus Rapid Transit system is internationally recognized as one of the effective methods in coping with the problem. However, the urban traffic is by a variety of transport of composition, only pay attention to the construction of transport itself is not enough, different modes of transportation between the effective Transfer can not only improve the attraction of the public transportation, but also can distribute the transport capacity be more reasonably.Among these, how well the Bus Rapid Transit and Conventional Bus connected, also both connections match each other, make the best of each other, is one of the key point to solve the problem in many urban public transport integration. Therefore, the research on Transfer coordination problems between Bus Rapid Transit and Conventional Bus with strong practical significance, not only for the theoretical significance of enrich the urban transport planning and design, but also useful for the guidance of its operation and management.The thesis analyzes the concept of Bus Rapid Transit、its component and function at first, then combining domestic and foreign research results and theories, do research on the coordination of planning and operation between the Bus Rapid Transit and Conventional Bus, and also use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for the tansfer interface coordinate degree.Firstly, from the perspective of the line network and site planning, do research on planning coordination of the Bus Rapid Transit and Conventional Bus:In terms of line network, analysis the objectives and principles of BRT’s network in coordinate planning, the impact factor of the network’s line size and the network planning methods, and also analyzes the line optimization of Conventional Bus Transfer with the BRT, finally modeling the line network optimization. Analyzes the optimized objectives, and the optimization model of the feasibility analysis, provides the optimization steps, meanwhile, optimizes the constraint conditions, puts forward the method of network coordination between Bus Rapid Transit and the Conventional Bus; In terms of site, analysis the classification and form of BRT site planning, the principle of coordinate between BRT and Conventional Bus, analysis the reasonable station spacing, and built the station spacing optimization model, provides example analysis.Secondly, in terms of operational coordination, Analyzes the optimized objectives, and the optimization model of the feasibility analysis,provides the optimization steps,meanwhile, optimizes the constraint conditions, puts forward the method of network coordination between Bus Rapid Transit and the Normal Bus; analysis of the coordination scheduling process, study on the waiting time value cos、Vehicles running cost value based on the consideration the service frequency, build up the transfer cost linear programming model and gives an example analysis for it.Finally, the thesis builts up the BRT and Conventional Bus Transfer coordinated index system, using multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method evaluate level of BRT and Conventional Bus coordination of convergence for XiaMen BRT line One.This thesis have the certain reference significance for dealing BRT and Conventional Bus Transfer planning and management operation problem for city, and provide some basis for the relevant departments and professionals engaged in the urban public transport system planning studies.
