In recent years, as the enhancement of people’s energy-saving and environmental protection awareness, the central heating is gradually replacing the traditional decentralized heating, in the winter heating mode of most China’s northern town and city. However, due to China’s central heating system control methods are lagging behind, there are still a lot of energy wasting phenomenon.In the heat exchange station circulating pump energy conservation controller of this paper designed, achieved frequency conversion control to the circulating pump of the heat exchange station system, and regulate the speed of the circulating pump, according to outdoor temperature changes in real time to change the flow of the heating system, thus changed the situation of constant-frequency heating supply throughout the heating season, and the phenomena of users need to open the window to dissipate heating when the weather gets warm, in the previous central heating systems. The flow and speed of circulating pump is proportional, and the pump’s power is three order of the pump’s speed, so when outdoor temperature decreasing, by reducing the pump speed accordingly can be significant energy savings to water circulating pump power consumption, and to achieve the purpose of energy saving.This paper first analyzed the central heating research situation and development trend at home and abroad; then based on the working principle of heat exchange station, completed the overall design of the heat exchange station circulating pump energy conservation controller; then based on the overall design, achieved the device selection and the detail hardware circuit designment; then based on the hardware platform, achieved the appropriate software designment; and through the production of the PCB to set up an experimental environment, achieved the experiments and principles validation of this paper, and result is feasible; then gived a brief summary and prospect at the end of this paper.In this paper, the hardware design based on the platform the LM3S9B96processor of the ARM Cortex-M3architecture, the main designment include of the temperature acquisition module, the VFD control module, touch screen display module, the ethernet communication module, memory modules, and power, reset, RTC and other peripheral module circuit.The software of this paper is based on SafeRTOS operating system, the whole system function is divided into multiple independent tasks module to design, including the temperature acquisition, VFD control, touch screen display, and network communication and so on.The heat exchang station circulating pump energy conservation controller designed by this paper, is designed for our county’s central heating system, and is characterized by low cost, easy to install, easy to operate and so on, it can effectively reduce the energy wasting and reduce the environmental pollution, for respond to national call to carry out energy conservation work, has a very important practical significance.
