Study And Realization Of Spectrum Analyzer Based On ARMll And LXI Bus

As the next generation Bus, LXI uses the open Ethernet technology as the means ofcommunication, making good use of the capability of the present and future Ethernet.This issue mainly studies the implementation of LXI-C interface with the help of thespectrum analyzer and also proposes the implementation of LXI spectrum analyzerbased on the ARM11processor and the Linux operating system.At the beginning, a brief introduction is given to the general development ofautomatic test system and communication bus technology, leading to the discussion ofnew generation test bus-LXI. After that, the characteristics and advantages of LXI busare explained in detail, followed by the main task of this issue. Then, the paper focuseson the spectrum analysis and the key technology of LXI interface and theimplementation plan of this issue is made. Besides, this thesis describes the designprocess of the spectrum analyzer hardware system in detain based on theimplementation plan of the hardware system mentioned previously, including processorplatform, LAN interface and analog signal conditioning channel. According to theimplementation plan of the software system, the software work is divided into two parts:the building of the software platform and the fulfillment of the functions of theinstrument and LXI interface. The former one mainly includes porting the Linuxplatform, writing device drivers and the realization of FFT while the latter one includesthe realization of LAN discovery and Identification based on VXI-11, LANconfiguration, the instrument drivers and Web servers. Finally, the paper summarizesthe work of the project and puts forward ideas of the further improvement.The study of LXI spectrum analyzer provides a suggested implementation andtechnology to the follow-up study, making certain contributions to the development ofLXI bus in some way.
