At the early stage of informationization in the manufacture industry, due to relatively independent development between the administration information and automatic production equipments, it makes an obstacle when the information and production are required to combine together. Then EMS emerges coping with the great demands in this environment. The changeable market requires the discrete enterprises to develop fast. In addition, discrete manufacture is facing to the demands on multi-type, small batch, changeable production, quick reaction and high-level of administration in productive quality. The conventional means of collecting data can’t meet the needs of EMS on quality administration, job-shop scheduling and process control. In recent years, RFID technology is developing rapidly, which meets the demands of discrete manufacture of MES (manufacturing execution system) on collecting the data of production spot. Therefore, the study based on RFID technology is meaningful for impeling the development of MES in discrete manufacture industry.Aiming at the characteristics of discrete manufacturing enterprises and existed questions, this thesis studies the application and scheme of RFID-based MES for discrete manufacture industry MES. On the basis of deep analysis of MES, RFID and current situation on the discrete manufacture industry, this thesis puts foreward the practical scheme of EMS based on RFID, including the selection of hardware, the construction of RFID system framework and the software development of RFID-based MES.On the function construction of EMS, this thesis mainly studies the function of quality management and production monitor. Through applying the function of instantaneous reading and writing, the production data can be recorded in real time, which can realize the quality management of the products. Through the identification and tracing function of RFID, the whole production line can be monitored so as to learning whether the production line is in the right order and to obtain the production information of the products.The dynamic web pages are designed as the expressing forms of software. Through the data storage in RFID and database, all production data can be recorded. And by the operations including selecting, judging, analyzing on the related data and feeding back to related departments, the efficient production management can be achieved.
