Research On The Maintenance System For The Harmony Locomotive Based On RCM

With the rapid development of the new technology, people have higher standard for the maintenance of equipment. RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), as an important means for the maintenance of equipment and administrative decision, has been widely applied in every field from the initial production and the development. Recently, the developed countries have already applied RCM in the administrative system of military equipment, and it has been popularized in civil use. Under such condition, it is necessary for us to study how to apply the advanced concept of administration and maintenance into the system of enterprise management and maintenance according to the specific situation of each enterprise.The reliability of locomotive equipments directly influences the safety of the locomotive running and the locomotive depot is an enterprise which is responsible for the maintenance of locomotive equipments. Since there’re numerous locomotives need maintenance and each locomotive consists of a large number of components, people should make sure the reliability of the maintenance of locomotive equipments by investing huge amounts of money to make a preventative maintenance for each component continually each year. Nevertheless, we haven’t deeply studied whether it can live up to the expectations by the excessive frequent preventative maintenance.From the perspective of the whole process management of the equipment, the reliability is essential for the entire life of the equipment circle including its study, its design, its production, its use, its maintenance and even its dumping. Furthermore, the reliability has different meaning in different stages. This thesis, combining with the factual situation of some locomotive depot’s equipment maintenance, premised on making sure the reliability of equipment, proposes a set of solutions based on the reliable maintenance for the harmonious type locomotive of RCM to reduce the cost of equipment maintenance.First of all, the purpose and the significance of the reliable maintenance system’s construction are introduced in this paper. Besides, the understanding of reliable maintenance is interpreted in the first part.For the second part, the methods for applying RCM into the practical productive maintenance of locomotive depot, combining with the actual situations are narrated. Moreover, a set of administrative management for the existing problems of the maintenance system and methods for locomotive depot are proposed in this paper. Finally, an introduction of the implement method for the main modules in the system of reliable maintenance is given, and how to construct the system and the relevant corpus are also explained in details.Above all, the operability of the technology RCM in the research and development of the reliability maintenance, and improves the system of productive maintenance are demonstrated in this paper.
