The Optimum Program Of Matching Paper For Corrugated Box Based On Value Engineering

Traditional matching paper method of corrugated box relies on theexperience, which is time-consuming, easy to insufficient and excessivepackaging. Considering both technology and economics, the conceptionof value engineering was introduced to the paper to reduce the cost andimprove the value. The method provides a new way to paper optimumdesign for its appropriate. The main contents are as follows:First, the conception, work procedure, meaning and functions ofvalue engineering are introduced in paper design. And the selection ofmulti-program of corrugated box is summarized. The value engineeringtakes into account not only advance and feasibility of technology, but alsorationality and possibility, which provides theoretical foundation for theoptimization model.Second, the subject of study is corrugated box. After corrugated boxfunctions defined and arranged, the paper determines raw materialsstrength as the main factor of physical properties. Tests are carried out tostudy the effect of raw materials strength and corrugated box physicalproperties. The analysis which got by means of SPSS show that, the ringcrush strength of the fluting is importance of compressive strength underconstant temperature and humidity. The ring crush strength of rawmaterials effects compressive strength of B-fluting single corrugated boxfrom the fluting, the outer and the inner. The ring crush strength of rawmaterials effects the compressive strength of BC-fluting doublecorrugated box from the number2fluting, the outer, the number1fluting,the inner and the sandwich.Third, the flutings have no effect on the bursting strength ofcorrugated box at constant environment. The results show that, the outeris more important than the inner on the brusting strength of B-flutingsingle corrugated box. The brusting strength of raw materials effectsbrusting strength of BC-fluting double corrugated box from the fluting,the outer and the sandwith.Forth, according to working procedure of multi-programoptimization of value engineering, the mathematical model is established, which is function analysis as coreand high value as goal. Through casestudies, the model is solved by matlab software and the results proved thefeasibility of optimization model.
