| The compressive strength of corrugated boxes is influenced by many factors. The deviation between test results and calculate results usually very large when enterprises estimate the compressive strength of corrugated boxes through common computing formulas. The common computing formulas are less practicability. Therefore, companies need a suitable method for estimating the compressive strength of corrugated boxes. On the other hand, with the development of the micro-corrugated, the application of micro-corrugated boxes are more and more widely, the common used formulas do not apply to estimate micro-corrugated boxes’compressive strength, and enterprise urgently need a suitable formula for micro-corrugated boxes. Once more, with the diversification development of packaging industry, enterprise are no longer just produce0201cartons. The way to estimation the compressive strength of other types corrugated boxes is that the enterprises need.In this paper,through combining theoretical calculation and experimental to analysis the compressive strength of corrugated boxes. Using the "h"ã€"BL" and "C" of the corrugated boxes as the structural parameters, though the experiment test flute-E,flute-B and flute-BC corrugated boxes’compressive strength, and then compared with the theoretical estimate results, on the basis of usual formulas, and amend those formulas,in order to get a suitable method for business to estimate the compressive strength of corrugated boxes.The experimental results shows that:when the carton height below200mm, the influence of "h"on the compressive strength is not obvious; the" BL" has a certain impact on the compressive strength, but it is not consistent regularity; the "C" of corrugated boxes fight more obvious impact on compressive strength, with the increase of "C",the compressive strength of cartons also gradually increased.By comparison of the experimental results and the common formulas"calculate results,the Kellicutt formula calculation results are more accurate,and the error is below10%,the followed is the Makee simple formula,the Wolf formula calculated maximum error results.In this article,we got the suitable method that applied to flute-E corrugated boxes on the base of deformation,simplified and amended the Kellicutt formula; Through the correction of Wolf formula and Makee simple formula,we obtained the calculated method that respectively applied to flute-E, flute-B and flute-BC corrugated boxes; And through amended of the package volume carton compressive strength calculation formula,we we obtained the estimation formula that respectively applied to0406corrugated boxes. |
