The Study On Optimized Designment Of Corrugated Box Towards Logistics Cost

Logistical package, as the focus of production and stating point of logisticsmovement, connects two different economic activities. However, it receives lessattention in the traditional logistics management due to its middle role. With thecontinuous development of logistics and package industry, people s cognition tologistical package has also been deepened, furthermore, the impact of package onlogistics cost has been emphasized gradually in our society. Bur even so, the lossrelating to unreasonable packaging always maintains over10billion in our country,and the bad logistical package accounts to80%of the figure. So, how to utilizepackaging strength reasonably and cuting down the cost of package as well as the losscaused by unproper would play certain role in reduction of logistics cost andimprovement of logistics effectiveness.This paper, firstly, taking currrgated box for stydying subject, which as majorpackage form is used in the logistical packaging extentively, analyzes the possibledamage forms caused by logistics package during the processes of transportaion,warehouring, handling, loading and unloading and concludes the extenal factors andreasons influcencing on the damage of logistical package.Secondly, one perforence index---compressive strength of corrugated boxseceleted as the point of research, the experiment is conducted and analysed from theseveral aspects, such as indentation line, position of opening hole, Corrugated box’sArris, carton side, time of stacking, method of stacking, height of carton,circumference of carton, ratio of carton’s length to width, the direction of corrugated,pattern of connection and seek the variety law of compressive strength in the prezentwork.Finally, accompanyed by the analytical result of the experiment mentioned above,this article discusses the meaning of the study of compressive strength on reducingrate of cargo damang and consumption of raw material in the process of logisticspackaging. Also, aiming at assisting to decrease cargo damage, save raw material,reduce cost of package and logistics, some proposals about package rationalization areput forward from perspective of logistical package.
