After earthquake in the WenChuan, we find a lot of damaged buildings because that local damaged component made the whole structure collapsed, including many hospitals and schools. In the other countries, the study of collapse has more than30years in China, and the latest codes still hasn’t proposed in detail on the resistance of progressive collapse, design method and unify the evaluation standard. Hence,based on the structural finite element analysis software SAP2000,the capacity to resist progressive collapse of a typical25-story reinforced concrete frame-shear wall structure is analyzed.The failure modes and the collapse risk of lateral incremental collapse and vertical progressive collapse of reinforced concrete structures are made thorough investigations on.The structure to be analyzed is designed according to the present design codes,and the SAP2000is chosen as the simulation platform.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.This paper is mainly introduced to some of the influence of the collapsed structure for performance parameters (ductility, robustness, and redundancy), to the theory and method of the collapse.The study of lateral incremental collapse is based on POA about the method of resist the lateral collapse. For vertical collapsed research, according to UFC files, theoretically it is mainly introduced to reference the structure of the vertical collapsed linear and nonlinear analysis design method. Detailly analysis of the RC frame-shear wall structure-the constitutive relation, failure mode and failure mechanism. According to the characteristics of the RC frame-shear wall structure,put forward the analysis and thinking of collapse design.2.Based on the model of the static nonlinear analyzes (POA) of the structure are analyzed,The structure is complex and limited calculation efficiency, choosing the single hinged frame, this paper analyzes the plastic changes of the wall and the frame,giving the structure in the elastic-plastic stage of the development of the plastic hinge order and failure mode,and get the structure performance assessment of super coefficient and ductility coefficient.The lateral collapsed capacity of The structure is reasonable evaluation.3.To the structure model of vertical continuity collapsed,this paper mainly introduced only static analysis method of linear collapsed, and not through the nonlinear analysis is verified.concrete frame buildings with the removal of coner column and side column are analyzed respectively using liner-elastic static alternative path-method.Analysing the internal forces and deformation and calculating the Demand Capicity Ratio(DCR) and displacement ratio after the removal of the critical elements.Then,comparison and evaluation the collapse resistant capacity of the structural.
